I fully support other charts being out there, especially when the aim is to organize it in such a nice graphical format (I have no artistic ability. The colors on my charts are merely to differentiate things). Seeing as I am spending less time on the site than I have in the past, I'd even hand the reigns over to someone if they wanted them and could deliver. However, I do want to offer some advice. There have been a number of different charts over the years, many of which were ver

Good luck to anyone actually attempting to decipher it, because I could only find 1 good case of a 'letter' repetition (arguments can be made for more, but nothing clearcut due to the different size at the top compared to the bottom). They certainly don't need any research removed, perhaps the tier 2 extra culture tech could give another bonus, like extra antimatter or shield regeneration bonus in culture. Every time I see this thread I see the crossed off tier 2 global unity idea... I kinda like the idea of this... it would give the loyalists something to grab early that pays you back the rest of the game. and maybe the frequency of loyalists doing this could encourage other factions to grab culture as well. I understand the allegiance bonus on top of that might be too good, but wasn't someone talking about buffing allure and removing levels as well? isn't that the whole effect

I've argued with people before about this... there is no way to make it realistic scales. Even if you shrink down the ships, the star would be enormous in comparison. the asteroids would be specks moons would be the size of ships currently. And if you got the distances scaled properly you'd spend most of your time looking at an empty screen. not fun. oh, and green stars... wtf?!

light frigates do the most damage and any method of draining AM helps. Fighters, target the carriers, or use capital abilities to delay their affect on the fight. Same as #1, plus as advent the Domina can make you immune... if you have AM. provide more specific details for a more specific answer..

Ok, I might have reached a bit on that last post. I thought it odd that their titans seemed backwards-themed and cherry-picked supporting evidence from the research trees without realizing it, my bad. However, I still think it's odd that the titan for the AL in function works out to be more defensive when the theme suggests it should be more offensive. Vice versa for the rebels. I'm not saying all factions can be cast as offensive or defensive, but Advent titans seem to be, an

Kind of a lore point here, so I guess you can ignore it, but how did it end up that the Advent Loyalists who are supposedly corrupted by vengeance or something (at least according to the Rebels) get a defensively built titan and the Rebels who I would expect to be more enlightened (if they're calling the loyalists aggressive or insinuating it) end up with a mostly offensive ship?

I just want to point out that a thread like this is only going to get people arguing... The factions can't be typecast so easily anymore (Diplomacy-era you could make a case for maybe). The closest you could get would be to discuss the different ways the factions accomplish the same things.

focus on getting more planets (use Colony frigates to do this)... other than that, play around. Pause is your Friend. There are a number of posts on this forum about specific strategies or factions, so look around. It should be obvious, but you win by wiping out the enemy.
