2 different formats .... PNG icon contains just 1 resolution, while .ico could contain multiple resolutions (from 16x16 to 256x256) .... PNG icons are for object dock while .ico doesnt require any app and could be changed manually from folder/file properties ..... how to do icons ..... well icons are just the same designs like other things .... u can make them with any graphic sofware .... u can try icon workshop to start with, if u r new to skinning .......... <p
