I also have deleted the aforementioned two files and it works great now!

Welcome Joey!
copied from the NG: We call that a safety feature, but we're going to change it to be an option since it causes more questions than anything else. For the moment, edit \windows\wb.ini and add to the [global] section: SkinDisplay=1 Then restart WB.
Thanks for the quick response. That did the trick.
Can someone remind me what the setting should be in order for the display properties box to be skinned (and which file to edit). I had done this before but got a new machine and am trying to set it up now. Thanks in advance. Bill
I'm all for a single unified style. I don't think it looks right the way it is.
Or the reading material!!
I just checked out the site and the newest icon set. Great job on both!!
I will continue accessing the messageboards through this website until this issue is fixed.
It does not appear to be updating properly at all.
The skinbrowser comes with a subscription to Wincustomize.
What I have witnessed with one of the sites popular with "msstyles" folks is that someone finds a WB skin that they want, make the port, show it to people on the bulletin boards (many with an apparent lack of conscience), talk about how great it will be but that they don't have permission yet, sometimes encourage others to obtain permission for them, taunt that they might release it with or without permission for various sundry reasons, and then release it - with or without actual permission. Anybody else have any feedback - positive or negative? Thanks.
I've been using 3.3 on my computer with WindowsXP Professional and multiple users without any type of problem. Never had to do anything but install it and it worked. No re-installations here.
Great job once again!!
I have Windows XP and use the latest release of windowblinds. Someone gave me an ATI All-In-Wonder 128 Pro package. Does anyone else use this? How is it with windowblinds? Will it allow me to use the new hardware acceleration features of windowblinds? Thanks for the help.
Will it be one of the suites included when one purchases the subscription to WinCusto?
Brad, For the record - I am not/have not been bashing the GUI Olympics. I thought it went off great given all of the issues that you mentioned above. I do pay attention to what is going on in the community and feel for the grief that you have put up with on several fronts. Having said that - I was only referring to the way that you postured yourself when responding to this thread. Volunteer or don't volunteer in another GUI Olympics. The choice is yours and yours alone I suppose. I appreciat
Awesome job on the new site!!
BTW - I have been an avid supporter of first the OBDN and more recently just Windowblinds. I participated through voting during part of the GUI Olympics. I support this site and come here most frequently because it is, in my opinion, the best place for what I am looking for. I am not bashing you, Brad, or anybody else here. I just think that there are a few problems that need to be worked out. Tempers flare and words fly, sometimes too quickly.
That was my observation based on some of the statements you were making - i.e. "And just to demonstrate clearly that the GUI Olympics is not a marketing ploy, to that I say, fine, screw it. No more GUI Olympics. Forget the summer GUI Olympics. Because it was 90% an act of good will towards "the community" and all I've gotten is personal attacks and grief from it. So screw it."
I said "act so childish" Brad.
I have never seen Frogboy act so childish as I have in this thread. I have often defended his words and thoughts on other boards. I hope this issue gets resolved and that folks don't get too heated over it. Sometimes it's best to wait before responding out of anger or frustration.
