Brian...AOL has been a simple TCP/IP stack since version 4. It also uninstalls cleanly if you know what you're doing. You clearly have NO idea what you're talking about. I have been using it since 1995 as a backup ISP, and it's fine, albeit slightly overpriced, full of pedophiles and a haven for morons. Also, you might wat to re-read the Constitution, pal. It's customary when dropping 'tude like yours to at least have your facts straight. http://www.kenefick.net/jim/constitution.ht

Well, the ability to run Unix certainly is something that it offers over Windows! Having a true GUI with the complete freedom of FreeBSD underneath? I would love that in a Windows platform. I have no desire to use OSX on a PC...what I would love to see is Microsoft go to FreeBSD and do the exact same thing, thereby making the Mac/PC cross-platform compatability issue one step closer to obsoletion.

I just finished reading quite a few things at your site, actually. Good stuff. Regarding the dot com reckoning, though...the tag at the end is what I wanted to ask about. " Stardock launched its .Net initiative in the summer of 1999 with creation of its Application Service Provider (ASP) Stardock.net and its first service - The Object Desktop Network (www.objectdesktop.net)." Is that what the hell .Net is supposed to be? Maybe I'm ignorant here, but ever since Microsoft star

At the very least, in the account section there should be an indicator...just text would suffice, although it wouldn't be sexy. I think we should all have it, even registered subscribers with apprentice or higher...as long as it didn't put too much strain on the back end. Speed is so much better these days, I hate to suggest any new features that could slow wincustomize.com down. <img src="http://im

I plan to subscribe. There are a limited number of sites on the Internet worth paying for, and since I use this one a LOT, and hence chew up their bandwidth, it's worth it. Plus I get another piece of software designed to make skinning my computer easier than it already is? Sure. No problem. Just point me to the signup page.

I agree...really cool app, but the footprint, oy! I'm probably going to register it anyway, because it's something I could use 20 times a day. Hopefully they'll continue to improve it, and free upgrades don't hurt either. If you haven't tried it yet, give it a shot. It does exactly what it promises. Pretty rare for sofware these days!

I would be glad to pay extra for stonewashed blue in 4x. Here, I'll lay it out: I'll pay 20 bucks for a 4X Stonewashed Blue, plus shipping. I'm a sucker for .com T-shirts.

I dig it, but it doesn't scale up if you use large font settings in Windows...the author is aware and will be working on it! Excellent program, however, and recommended.
