Countdown timer in DesktopX Stardock Forums

I downloaded timer.dxpack, and I've been trying to modify it to suit my needs, but I'm fairly novice to all this and it's not really working. In 'timer' you have minutes, seconds, and tenths of seconds, then a button to set minutes, and a stop button. What I want is a timer with hours, minutes and seconds, and when you click the set button, it first asks you for how many hours, then how many minutes. I've tried editing the code, moving the code about, from 'timer' but it's not

I want to show in my objectbar the titlebar of the active window - this might seem completely pointless but it's for something I'm experimenting with. So, for example, when I've got this window open, the objectbar would have a bit in it saying 'Windows titlebar in objectbar? - A Forum Post by the_hyrax_lord - Mozilla Firefox'. You get me?

Would it be possible for me to somehow get the titlebar of the current window to appear in my objectbar? I've had a quick look through some of the widgets etc with no luck. Any help?

http://www.bestsoftware4download.com/software/t-free-taskswitchxp-pro-download-ctmvfrvb.html - A more advanced, fully customisable version of the alt+tab powertoy. Don't know if it will suffer the same problems or not, but if you're into the powertoy, you should give this a whirl.

Okay, so I got the now playing text working, but when I shutdown my laptop, then boot up again, the dxplayer plugin has reverted to defaults (ie, nothing) and I have to reconfigure it every time. Any ideas about this? I make sure I save the bar after I make any changes, so I don't know why it keeps doing this.

\no matter, I got it! Working great, thanks!# It's a shame I can't have it display the duration AND the clip title though. Even if I go on the 'shift' column, you can't have another text display.

I've recently been building a media control into my objectbar, which is going well, but I'm really pretty novice when it comes to this sort of thing, so mostly I've been pilfering from various sources. The one thing I can't seem to do, however, is insert a 'now playing' bar that will show the current song in winamp. I found one, a desktopx widget, but couldn't get it to work when inserted into the bar. Can anyone help me on any level here - advice on how to build my own, sugge

I was thinking of the way it looked mostly - the way you have current window huge in the middle, and other programs sort of petering out to the sides. It seems ungainly to me, and I'd ideally like the programs in a list in one window, with a screenshot of the window to the side. Object Media in Object Desktop Stardock Forums

Wasn't sure where to post this, so this seemed like the best place. I like the idea of stardock having it's own media player, and it could certainly be something great, but it's not quite there. There are some filetypes it won't play (e.g. .m4a files)...anyway, it's probably asking a lot, but if objectmedia was as all-encompassing and user-friendly as say winamp, I'd be using it in a snap. Graphical Task Switcher in WindowFX Stardock Forums

I did have TaskSwitcherXP on my laptop, which is a fully customisable graphical task-switcher, and is great! I toyed with the idea of using WinFX's task switcher for ages, and finally did, only to discover it's kind of...well...overly huge and garish and a bit odd really. I'll stick with it, because it makes sense to use my object desktop programs and not fill up my programs folder with random programs that do the same thing, but is it likely the graphical task switcher will ever have

Creating SOLID objects in ObjectBar Stardock Forums

I've created a bar that goes along the top of my desktop with everything I need on it, from applications to shutdown dialog to clock and systray. That's great, it works perfectly. Also, in skinstudio, I've set it so maximised windows dont cover the whole desktop, leaving enough space at the top for my bar to be accessed. Brilliant, it works just as I want.
