I'm not sure if it's supposed to happen like this but... I was in a long, long war with the Altarians. Finally it got to a point where they were willing to deal for peace. I gave them all my ships and tech. They gave me all their planets. They no longer appeared on the foreign relations screen, but they still had a ship on the map. I had to declare war to attack it. Every time. Seemed odd.

Honest to god, i was looking forward to this game so strongly, that i'm just disappointed. i'm frustrated. i just don't "get it" I think. 8( I don't know how to declare war! I don't know what to "do" in general! I don't understand the tech system, how or where to focus and why. I know that there are story based events (precursor kind of stuff) but are there random astronomical events/disasters?
