I have faith in Stardock, I just don't have faith in Atari. Too bad they can't update Mail Order Monsters and Archon as well!

I'm going to have to go with a big thumbs up for the MoM tactical battles...that was part of the fun and challenge. From what I've read so far, you're sticking to the spirit of the original plus adding your own touches...if people want to bypass a crucial element of this type of game...why play at all?
Thanks for finally getting this going (officially!). Been looking forward to this for a long time...already pre-ordered and ready to go!
I'm in. Pre-ordered and ready to beta! (someday anyway)...in fact, just finished a game of MoM this morning, so looking forward to something new and yet similar!
I think they'd be fine with one or more planes as long as they didn't call it Myrror :)
One pencil looks like a wandering salesman with all his goods on his back. NPC for buying items?
Hope everything is going well on 'NotMoM.' While I enjoyed AoW: Shadow Magic, for me, MoM was just way more fun...there was some element in the game that just 'clicked' for me and sent it way out ahead of the rest...even games that came later. I'm still pissed at FASA for getting them to quit work on MechLords...that would have been another game that I wore out. At least we have DosBox and can still play MoM now. Well, hope we get to hear more news on the fantasy game...interesting you guys men
I would pre-order at least 3 copies of MoM2 if Stardock would bring it out..with or without multi-player. This game is too good to languish in limbo. I trust Stardock to do the right thing with it too. I like the idea of having Classic MoM along with the other options...more than 2 worlds seemed appealing, terrain elevation modifiers, more heroes, more items, more wizards. Options are good. Thanks for even considering this course...I've been hoping for something like this for years.
