Natural desktop problem

I installed the latest Natural Desktop last week. When I run it nothing happens - it shows as running in Task Manager but nothing displays on the desktop. I'm running Norton antivirus but even with that switched off zip happens. Can anybody help?

Natural Desktop was written to use Microsoft scripts. Because many antivirus programs prevent scripts from running, this is an obvious problem.

You should make sure all script blocking is turned off, as this is the sole cause for Natural Desktop not doing anything (though it's running) on startup. The development team is currently trying to find a workaround for this issue.

If you're still experiencing a problem even after turning off all script blocking, know that the development team has just announced that an update should be available soon.

I have the same problem.  Bought Natural Desktop, installed it, but nothing, although taskmanager says it's running.

Hi guys. There is an update on Stardock Central that should fix the problem, which appears to have been caused by a corrupt standalone installer.

I recommend you:
* Uninstall the version that you have
* Get Stardock Central from here: https://www.stardock.com/sdnet_login.asp
* Login with your Stardock.net/WinCustomize account
* Fill in your Natural Desktop registration details on the Registration Info screen in Tools
* Turn on View/Show pre-release versions
* Install Natural Desktop 1.5b from the Misc section
