Need help- strange error with my new theme

Greetings- new user, first post. Great site, I was really getting bored with my old settings. Now, onto the question.

I just restarted my computer, and when it booted up and opened windows, the new theme was gone, as were the changes to the window skins (e.g., the popup windows from programs, I.E., My Computer, etc.). Is this going to happen every time I reboot? If so, a new skin isn't worth the trouble of loading back up again and loading all widgets, objects, etc.

Are you talking about DesktopX and Windowblinds?

Do you have them set to run at startup?

Not only do they have to start with the computer, I think the widgets and other settings have to be saved in DesktopX. Other wise the changes you made to customize everything to your computer will be lost and you will have to start from scratch. I may be mistaken though, I havent used Desk X for about a year and a half. But from what I've been reading, I'm considering it again.
