how to put people into a transporter?

sorry for my broken english, but i´m german... :)
my queation is, how can i put people into transporters? I have never found a button for this or something like that. aomewhere i´ve read, that i can do it if the transporter start from a planet. but when i choose the transporter in the menu and then i give him a waypoint, he just fly to that point, no option for puttting people inside him...
can you please help me? (:(

What you have to do, after you build the transport ship, you click on it, on your lower right corner you will see a small window with an arrow that would allow you how many people you want to put in the transport ship, remember colony ship load civilians and military transport and combat transport load soldiers, when you have moved the arrow to assign how many people you want in your transport ship you will notice right at the top of the sam small window the word "launch" you click on it and your ship will be placed in orbit, click the ship and click the destination where you want the ship to go, or at the top of the page you could use rally point to create a specific destination where you want the ship to go, if you have stablished rally points, you just click on the transpoter and hit the X key on your keyboard and it will open a screen where all your rally points are, so you click on which one you want your ship to go and hit assign.

When you launch you transport (or colony ship) from a planet a slide will appear in the bottom right corner. Use the slider to adjust the number of troops/colonists loaded onto the transport and click launch.

If you use automated launch methods like planet level rally point settings, the game will automatically load the lower of half the system's population or the transport's maximum capacity. The same applies to colony ships.
