Graphic Program

Does anyone know of a really good, $$CHEAP$$, program for graphics editing.

I have MS photodraw, but thats about it. I would like to get into the whole computer art world, but i don't want to spend lots of money.

Cheap for me is ~$100 dollars.

Paint Shop Pro will only cost you $119 for the download version (if I remember correctly). Also, you can always try GIMP. It is open source and so 100% free. I have been using it lately (I like supporting open source software) and have been quite impressed. I find PSP a little more accessible, but have also used it more. Either would be a great place to start.

I use PSP9 and, although have nothing to compare it to, like it a lot. Price is not bad.

You might want to check out this easy-to-use program, which is free, and is being developed by some folks at Washington State University. It has quite a bit more features than MS Paint, but not as many as PS or PSP. Link

Do a search on Ebay for Paint Shop pro. You can get a copy with a registerable serial for real cheap. You usually won't get a box or manual with it though.

Wow, Island Dog. I would never have thought to look at Ebay. There are mulitple registerable copies there for under $50. Great advice.

You can get great deals on software on Ebay. Just make sure you deal with a reputable dealer. I just bought a brand new copy of Microsoft Outlook 2003 for $30.

Kid Pix would also probably be a good bet, too.
