Strange Behavior from windows....

When i connect to the internet and open IE a strange kind of error displays sying that lsass.exe has termntd unxpctly and the system will shutdown in 60 seconds. have any idea what happens

You can get the fix from Symantec's Website.....Save on Flppy from Friends comper and save the fix to your desktop and open will get rid of it

Oh ya Uzee if it's the Sasser Worm read the instructions you have to turn OFF System Restore before fix and turn it back on after fix

Hey Somethings wrong. i cant accsess symantec. i am getting a page not found error in every symantec url i try. >

i think some infection is preventing me to do so.

Try a web browser other than IE. Also, go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\ and open the Hosts file in notepad. If there's a line referencing symantec.com, delete it.

I don't mean to scare you but it crashed my puter about 6 mounths ago, I had norton and thought I was safe. if you can get to a friends puter and dl and copy the fix there and get home and run it!!!. NORTON did not detect the worm. good luck

p.s. I run a scan every week.
