I might be starting a bit of skinning again after my real-life hiatus. Things went pretty badly with the girl I downed my tools for and I'm going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment. Then the other day I started fiddling with that old GANT skin and it managed to take my mind off things for a while. So it looks like skinning is exactly the therapy I need right now to take my mind off real life.

Here's a mini-preview of the latest version. Things are a little less outline-heavy than they used to be, but I think it's a good trade off for useability. Let me know what you think.

Very nice The heavy outline works for me. Of the two styles of titlebars I prefer the second (white style) over the first mainly because of the titlebar buttons

Just to clarify, the second window is actually the inactive state, so the majority of windows on your screen will have this appearance.

I likes the top one, and maybe you could smeak in a version with a Slim titlebar say 15 pix high or so and a shrunken taskbar?

Looking very good. Love the basic feel of it. Nothing fancy smacy( thought those are fun too) just a simple, straight forward skin. Can't wait to see the whole thing.

Hey, is it possible that a sub-skin can have the heavy texture of Gant II? You know, its sort of like watercolor looking texture. That would be cool.
