Vurtual PC's have so many uses it is unreal, need to run an older application? VPC it. Need to test on a diff OPSYS? VPC it. Have a prob with some software VPC it. The nice feature is you can discard changes on you VPC's or if the effects of something are wanted the you can keep them.
Trust Me I can talk forever on this Subject. I use Virtual PC's for all kinds of things. If you have any questions feel free to ping me.

| Uhhh...who's Donna? |
Donna is a great skinner, and one of my early influences. I think our styles are quite similar, only hers are always neater than mine.
click on sylva's name and take a look at the great array of skins on her page.

She'll always be 'CrazyGirl' to me....
In '76 I was already working in Architecture....

Allright, I know it's not the complete truth, But it came at a time when I really needed an ego boost! Do you mind if I print it out on parchment paper and hang it on my wall where my diploma should be?
Thanks Boxxi *s*

oops... I think I kinda just did that, didn't I?
She didn't ask how to test it on Windows 98, she didn't ask for volunteers to test it either. She asked how many people still uses Windows 98 / ME. She just wants to know if it's worth thr trouble or not.
Personnally, Donna, I wouldn't bother. But it depends what's your goal when making a skin. If you're doing it for the users and want to have it work for almost everybody, then yes it's worth it. I make skins primarely for myself, then since it's done anyway, I upload it for others if they want it. If it works for them great, if it doesn't sorry. But that's just me, I have no pretention of being anywhere near a professional skinner, I skin for myself.
I've already done a couple of skins for my own use. I'm on a dial-up connection right now though, so I was wondering if it was actually worth the trouble to upload everything if I'm not also doing updates for WB4. Unfortunately I can't skin what I can't use....
so far, I don't think it's worth it.
