Alienmorph Winamp...

i would say .. if a skinner came up with a original Winamp skin that went well with the theme, T.S.F may confer with Alienware to make it an official skin. i could be wrong tho.. but remember it would have to stand up to T.S.F's and Alienware's standards ...which isnt easy .......

easyest thing to do would be to make a skin that accentents the theme and name it something like alien amp or whatever ..... and state you made it to compliment the alienware theme but it is not officially part of the theme . i believe that should let users know you made it to go with the alienware theme, but is not officially alienwares skin.....oh and remember (for those who will ask this question later ) the graphics must be original. no borrowing from the alienware theme or any other artists stuff ..


copywrite and stuff is very tricky and ya wouldnt want to step on any toes ....

I think they did that once with a Warner brothers skin or something... I can't remember... maybe it wasn't Warner bro... Was it the Hulk? They made a call and a contest too for people to make skins matching the theme... then again I think that was Pixtudio.

yeah there was actually... but guess what? AOL owns WinAmp and Warner Brothers owns AOL.

So the Brothers thought to say, "Hey! we also should skin our own player... HELLO!!!"

That is what I think and I am sticking to that theory
