desktop animation

is there a program or a certain type of file in existence that allows me to have an animated background. im not talking about *.gifs or any 5 frame animations, i mean real 3d rendering...thatd be wicked.

I believe if you go to WinCust Goodies you will find an animated desktop called Aquarium. I haven't purchased it yet, but I have read some good remarks about it.
