Who borked up WC?

I can't even log in anymore using Mozilla. It's been having problems for the last couple weeks, and it's getting progressively worse. All I do now is go around and around trying to log in. I keep getting redirection errors and so forth.

are you using a firewall of any kind? I've had problems with ZA mucking the site up from time to time but it's fine now.. You might want to make sure you don't have some piece of software blocking cookies.

I haven't changed anything in my computer's configuration, and I've cleared my cache, etc. This time, it logged in normally, but wouldn't let me post to the boards. It will sucketh mightily if we're going to be strong-armed into using IE or SDC (same difference) just to navigate this site.

well, I'm posting this from Mozilla 1.6. The only issue I had was for some reason the first time I tried to login it told me the e-mail address I entered was incorrect so without changing the address at all, I entered my password again and I was able to login without a problem.. What kind of problems are you having? Does it constantly take you to the incorrect login page?

It was telling me that it was having redirect problems, that there was something wrong with my cookies or some such. I cleared the cache and erased all the cookies, and it logged in fine, but when I went to submit to this thread all I got was a blank white page with a '0' on it.

"Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load the requested page. This may be caused by cookies that are blocked."

Except that I don't have the cookies blocked for WC...never have. Now I can't log in again with Mozilla 1.6b. This has never happened until recently, when I started having odd behavior logging in.

Maybe I'll try reinstalling Mozilla. Can't ever seem to get the people in charge of these things to respond to questions like this.

Try increasing your redirection limit and also if you are blocking sites make sure that stardock.com  is trusted for cookies.

I use firefox and have no trouble with anything except one day recently I couldn't access stardock from anywhere. I assume that was server side and not me as things resumed working the next day. I realize firefox isn't the same as Mozilla, but they are off the same trunk.

I was first reading this using Opera, so I closed and logged back on using Mozilla 1.6 and when I tried to post a message I got the same white screen with a zero.....very strange indeed, I've never had any problems with Mozilla and WC [BTW, I'm posting this logged back in with Opera 7.23]

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't (mostly it doesn't). It's obviously on all of our machines, eh?

T-Man..nothing has changed on my end AT ALL. Something's changed on the server end. Has to be. Reread post #7 for the cookie situation.
