Fences 4.x stopped working in Win 11

I've been on Fences 4.x (4.23 currently) and there's been nothing in 5 or 6 that makes me want to pay for an upgrade. However it looks like I might finally have to, as with recent Windows Updates all of my desktop icons are now completely hidden unless I disable Fences. I can't tell exactly when it happened because honestly I don't look at the desktop that often but my daily snapshots have been blank for the last 3 days.

I know it's just the nature of software that interfaces with the OS so closely, but still disappointing.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Do you also have Stardock's Start11 v2.71 installed? If you do please update Start11v2.72 and see if the issue still appear.

No, the only Stardock product I have installed is Fences

Please do a 30 days free trial on Fences 6 and see if the issue appear on Fences 6. https://www.stardock.com/products/fences/
