when I activate a window on the secondary screen

I have uninstalled FENCE and the error is corrected. It also happens to me when I am out of the office without the secondary screen, only the main screen lights up, leaving the rest of the screens dark.
Someone has a solution for this problem.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I do not think that Fences has any control on your screen dimming function. Perhaps, you also have WindowFX installed, or any manufacturer apps which has "Focus mode" that has similar feature. Manufacturer such as Asus and HP laptops is known to have such feature.

Sorry, but why does it get fixed when I uninstall the FENCE program, it doesn't make sense, the error should continue appearing when I uninstall FENCE.
Perhaps "that" application not compatible with Fences. What you can do to test it out do a Clean Boot. Refer to these steps for Clean Boot: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1332445272/Fences+Clean+Boot. Do note that Clean Boot need to be done with care. Try it and report back.

Problem solved, for contributing to the forum, the HP Display Control Service by Portrait Displays conflicts with the FENCE application causing a darkening of the secondary windows.
