Problem when applying the Windows XP Luna theme and trying to set SystemApp to Windows 11 dark mode without the theme

Problem when applying the Windows XP Luna theme and trying to set SystemApp to Windows 11 dark mode without the theme.

I'm trying to make the navigation between “My Computer,” “Drives,” and “Folders” look like Windows XP using the Luna theme from WindowBlinds, but I want to keep the Windows 11 navigation through the system settings.

For example, I want the folder navigation to look just like Windows XP with the classic, light Windows XP theme but I want the Windows settings and modern apps to have a modern look.

But when I switch to the dark theme in Windows, it also makes the Luna theme dark in “My Computer” navigation, which looks really ugly, and when I switch to light, it looks perfect, but I don’t want the light theme for the rest of Windows just for “My Computer” and its folders.

How do I fix this?

I’ve tried using the exclusion list and other methods, but without success so far. I need urgent help.

I’m thinking of requesting a refund.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. If you changed the system colors, it will effect the entire system with or without Windowblinds. So, for example, in your case, changing your Windows mode to dark, that will also change the system color too. Some part in Explorer will become dark mode. For example, The top menu bar (under the address bar) will be in dark mode.

Thank you,
