question about activations...

So I already have Start11 purchased for my laptop machine...

The web page for Start11 says "5 Active Installs" ... but when I installed Start11 on my desktop machine (now that I've upgraded WB to V11) and try to activate it, it says :
"Unable to activate Start11 v2, as it's currently active on a different computer."

What is the situation here??

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. If you use this guide to review and manage your activation, you should see if you have Single or 5 active install under your purchased product: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1260191763/How+to+review+and+manage+your+current+activations

Well... okay, I have the Single activation version (which I already knew, since I can't activate more than once) - but that doesn't even exist, at least on the current product options; why did this happen?

Not really sure what you mean by that (the one I set bold) . Please elaborate.

I mean that there *isn't* any version of Start11 that has only Single activation available... every purchase option on the store page says "5 Active Installs"... (well, except for Object Desktop, but I've never used that).

waitaminit... the product that I have is "Start11 v2 Upgrade", meaning I started with Start11 v1 ...
Was *that* the product that was only one activation??

There are options for Single license available for purchase.

WHOA!!!!!   Haha... okay, thank you...
I never noticed that... I wonder how I ended up with a single-user version; but it doesn't matter, I have it working now...

Thank you again, Master...
