[bug] Start11 2.51 Vertical taskbar shifting on app open/close

I'm using Start11 2.51 to set up a vertical taskbar on the left side of the screen on Win11 24H2 26100.4202.

I've pinned the icon for Voidtools Everything to the taskbar and when I open Everything, the entire contents of taskbar shift several pixels. Then when I close it, the whole taskbar shifts again. Bizarrely, this happens even when Everything isn't at the very top (ie. if it's the second or third pin down). All of the taskbar items shift together and it doesn't look like the Everything taskbar item changes its height at all.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please update to Start11v2.52 (Beta) and retest your issue and report back. Also, make sure Enhance taskbar is turn on. 

Note: Remember you need to reboot the system right after you installed that latest version.

Thanks Basj - I updated to 2.52.3 and the issue no longer happens!

Will this version auto-update to the stable 2.52 when it releases? or will it stay on the beta release branch?

It usually goes to released version when every major accoutered issue ironed out. There usually will be announcement in the forum with a new thread and if you have Start11 to check update automatically turn on, it will inform you when a newer release version available.
