Start11 Version 2.52.3 problems w/ Windows 11 windows flickering and shrinking

There seems to be a bug in Start11 version 2.52.3 which causes windows to flicker and shrink. The only thing that seems stop it for a little while is to change the scale of the text and apps to a different percentage but I have to do this repeatedly and frequently. Because I am using a television as my screen the recommended scale of text and apps is 300% and the recommended display resolution is 3840 x 2160. I have a desktop with an intel i7-9700F, GeForce GTX 1660 Ti and 16gb DDR 4 RAM. This happens with different browser windows, Apps and even when I open settings.

How can I take down this post? I found another post where other members are experiencing many of the same issues after the recent Windows 11 update.

To delete a post you just need to press the cog icon and select delete post.

I'm still experiencing the same problems. I've been following a post similar to this one and none of the solutions have helped. I guess you can delete this, since It doesn't look like you will be coming up w/ a solution to this bug.

Please list down which suggested solutions that you have tried? Do know that system are unique from each other. Some steps could work for others but not in every system. Do know that I am also on 4K monitors. And, I can set my monitor to 300%, but I don't see your same issue on my system.

Hello Bash,

It was good to hear you were not having any problems w/your 4k monitor. That gives me hope that Stat 11 may work on my 4k.. I created a new admin account to try a clean boot and downloaded the Start 11 file. For some reason my PC would not allow me to run the file a window kept popping but I don't remember what it said. I downloaded and ran the new beta version. I followed the directive to uninstall, reboot immediately, install the beta and reboot again  I continued to have the same problems w/ windows shrinking in size  and flickering.. I also experience the task bar freezing up. When this happens none of the shortcuts work on the task bar. In addition to this the desktop shortcuts began to flicker. The short cuts also will not stay where I place them. Every time the desktop is brought back up the shortcuts move to a different place.

I've had my task bar positioned on the top,  bottom, left and right sides and get the same symptoms . I don't have any other software that would alter the UI. When I turn off enhance taskbar, hide the taskbar does not work and other times the task bar will not appear at all and the window will only open to where the task should be . I only have one 4k monitor at 300 scaling. I have Windows 11 home edition so I don't think I can do the sandbox test.

It would help if you know what is the popup Windows is saying. That could tell us why your system can not complete the Clean boot Steps properly.

Please look into that part again. Try the Clean boot steps again. If possible make a quick screenshot showing what the popup Windows is saying.
