boot skin.........not booting

Hi all; I instaled bootskin, and dl some skin's to go with it and shut down and rebooted and no bootskin, so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and same as before, and suprise still nothing even whated a few hour's to turn on. please help new to this world thanks in advance. kjay528

tried all the bootskins that come with the program and none work at all, except time warp
I get the folowing messg on a command window

1)boot in safe mode
2)safe mode with neworking
3)safe mode with command prompt
4)last good startup
5)normal startup

I pick normal startup (with new bootskin) same messg. I have to pick (last good startup) and goes to default screen. I know it is some thing really simple I am missing, and am going to make me feel like a
simpleton. thanks agian
