Cloud doesn't sync while reinstalling Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes

I had been having crashes during game play, attempted to uninstall and reinstall, cloud will not sync so game will not reinstall. Cloud is working for other games.

I'm having the exact same problem. The problem began within the last 2 weeks. I can start a new game, save a few times, but then when I restart FE, I find my saves have a Steam Cloud Unable To Sync error. I can try to re-sync, but it always fails. If I proceed anyways, FE will display the start-up screen and then fail when I attempt to load a saved game. Any advice?
