Hypergate use

First time poster, new to the game. Is this how Hypergates/lanes should be working in Retribution? Is it not quicker for the ship to travel on a straight line alone the hyperlane from A to B?

If you want to go through a Black Hole.

I would have built that one further to the left so as to skim the BH to the left of the leftmost antimatter.
