Elemental: WoM Windows 10 Update?

I have a copy of Elemental, I really loved the game and it's features like dynasties and things that weren't included in Later games in that series, however I can't get it to run on Windows 10. I know it wasn't designed to run on Windows 10, but I was wondering if there was a patch or if someone had made a mod that would allow me to play it? Is there somewhere I can get the drivers it Wants that Windows 10 doesn't have? Thanks.

I had it running on Win 10 about a year ago. Didn't have to do anything special. Could be a newer Win10 update has messed that up. Think I still have it installed on my home computer, will give it a try again when I get home tonight.

Update:

It seems like some update, be that a driver update or a Win10 update has stopped the game from working on my PC. Think I have done 2 major Win10 updates since last successfully launching the game, and probably a small handfull of video driver updates.

Currently, launching the game seems to get it started, it blacks out the screen, I see the in game cursor, then both my screens flash black (dual monitor system), then it drops back to Win10 desktop. I can see a resolution change has tried happening as well as the desktop icons are in a slightly different location, but fences seems to kick them back to their correct spot just about immediately.

That's sounds about like what happened to me. I have no idea how to fix it though. I know enough to know the problem is with the video drivers, but not enough to know how to fix them.

On a whim, I tried this again, as there have been many Win10 updates since last posting. And it seems to be back to working again!

Actually got the game to start by individually setting all applications to run in compatibility mode, but all localization files seem to be missing? Not entirely sure what it means but every single area of text said "String not found".

ahahahaha figured it Out!!! I had tried to install it along a different file path and something went wrong, allowed it to use the default path and now it works.
