My desk at work, Syncronus is really great if You need much space for displaying spreadsheeds and the like. And it is not too fancy.

This is what I have been running.  Weather is DX2 object by Martin, the calender is a DX2 object by Redfordz, the DX2 player is by pjpowell, Toon-XP icons, Faux Toon-XP skin my Mormegil, Standard ObjectDock with size and background tweaked, CursorXP is called Transilvania, and wallpaper is Aqua Blueberries.

Hit the 'Print Scrn SysRq' key. That will copy your desktop to your clipboard.
Then open any graphic program eg. Photoshop, Microsoft Paint, Paintshop, etc.
Open a new image, and then clik Paste.
Save your image (as .jpg recomended)
Now you are ready to upload it
