Looked a little odd at first. I thought my browser was doing wierd things, but I like it.

ugly lets go back, I start at the msgboard, and its hard to surf from here

floating menu you can drag and drop while in the msg board maybe?

I dunno, always use the WinCBrowser for the site...

mmmm, have to take a look.

I like it the other way because I usually check out the top stuff while I'm
reading the messageboards.  This way, I'll have to go back to the home page
to see it.  (Which will be a pain when people start complaining about stuff
in the top stuff )  It looks cleaner, but I find it less functional,
personally.  But, I'll vote with however the masses feel.

I cant function like this. I dont like it very much. It seems like the messegeboard is falling off the side of my monitor. I keep wanting to scroll over! I like the idea of choosing on your acount settings whether its displayed or not. What if we used frames?

Personally I like it. It looks cleaner, and more space. Thanks!

Kona...you're makin' a funny right? Or are you seriously that passionate about this?

This does have an advantage for dial-up users, less content to load up meaning a faster page load. Those with faster connections probably don't see the difference though. How about letting the user be able to modify how they want the message boad to appear in their accounts? That way, those with slower connections can opt out of loading unneeded content for faster page loads.

I always feel like the message boards are scrunched.

I have to agree with Frogboy.

It did feel 'scrunched-in' once one was on the MB. It wasn't even so much about the speed as tech cat mentioned, although indeed it is better for dial up users.
For me personally I don't feel like I'm crammed in a little box. If I wan't to browse through the latest goodies...I'd rather do such browsing in a seperate window. (I do that anway... I can't just do the MB...I get bored. ADHD maybe???? )

This 'was' my home-page.....now with a third of its importance/relevance removed it's a distinct backward step that will just make life more tedious for those who are responsible for keeping an eye on things.....I vote returning to as it was....

In my oppinion, it does look a little better and more roomier, but its a little hard to browse thru the top and new stuff. Maybe it takes some 'get use to'
