Black Screen at Startup

I just got this game off of the epic games store and it won't work so I looked at the log file.The problem seems to be this:

AppMain.Start ()

------------------------------------------------------

How do I fix this?Or do I have to wait until it's patched in an update?

I got it working!:grin: When I looked in the plugins folder there was a tachyon.exe file and it said concrt140.dll was missing.I looked it up online and found out it is part of the visual studio 2015 runtime which can be found here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads

I installed it and ran the game through the epic launcher and it works! I wonder why no one ever said this runtime was needed? it doesn't even come with the game.But anyways, Now everyone who reads this will know how to fix this problem! Have fun playing :grin:

can you please help, i got the same problem and installed runtime but nothing changed, what do i need to do?

Did you run it from the epic games launcher? I also installed this runtime mentioned in the support faq:http://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/confirmation.aspx?id=30679    and I also ran the directx setup I found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\DirectXRedist.

Mabye thats what your missing?Sorry about that I forgot to mention this stuff in my solution.But it's also absolutely necessary to run the game from the launcher(if you got it from epic that is) whenever you want to play
