Perhaps a lame and already-asked question...

...But what is the average time to make Apprentice and then Master Apprentice and then Journeymen and then Master etc.? Or is there no set rule or whatnot?

Ah and anyways hope you are all having a nice week who have read this!

EXCELLENT one DavidK . But that is a good question..

It is achieved through positive, worthwhile contribution to the site...via skins, etc, and interaction on the Message board - both lead to awareness in the minds of the Admins, prompting 'promotion' to acknowledge this positive support....

I know it will never happen to me so what is the use of even trying to get promoted? I have to pay to get higher user levels....

Apprenticeship can be obtained more or less quickly, depending on how much one is involved in the site (as Jafo explained: through participation on this board, answering question in the Help forums, making a vast contribution of quality skins and themes, etc.).  But from Apprentice, it's a little tougher to go higher.  The contribution has to be proven to be constant, not just a short phase in one's life.  There is no policy regarding how long it takes, but I would say that if someone ever reached Journeyman, it would probably take at least a year.  As for Masters, they are only a handfull, and have all been around the community for a very long time (2, 3 years or more) and are truly considered "Masters" in their art by everybody.
