DaveBax - Wincustomize - Stardock

I wasn’t going to post anything about myself but thought in time someone may be looking for me. I had and have many friends here on WC for many years. Stardock software and the people here have helped me enjoy many, many years and hours here. Help was always available from asking general questions to skinning.

I have been getting test done on my health for several months on my situation. Turns out I have stage 4 cancer that as spread to different parts of my body. I didn’t delay finding out what my health problem was but it’s a very aggressive cancer and didn’t have early warning signs.

I have several WindowBlinds completed or just about completed that have been done for months. To all the people that have enjoyed my work I want to share my last ones if possible. I will not be in here as I always was thanking everyone every day. Saying that I will check in when I can and I thank you all now from my heart the love I have for everyone.

I can’t tell you when my time will come. Could be a few months yet but only God has that answer. Hospice has me on meds that are helping pain management, coughing and allowing me to do things. Please also know There is a member here that when I do pass my Daughter will call and I asked this person to advise you all when my time has reached the end. I will only be leaving when I can no longer get my second leg out of bed. As long as I can get it out I have no give up and I will be up. I have totally accepted my situation and Jesus Christ has his arms open for me but not calling yet.

Wincustomize and Stardock. People that care. You all rock. Thank you.

I am glad that you decided to make a post about your situation Dave. You have been on my mind a lot. It is difficult for me to find words but everything that I have wrote in email messages I meant. I am also very happy that you have Christ to help you through this very difficult time, He has never failed me once though I have failed Him many times.
I hope you will be able to get those blinds uploaded soon but if not it is understandable.
God bless my friend.

Thanks for letting us know.  I'd been missing you lately.  I do hope everything goes as well as it possibly can.  Thanks for everything you've done.

I don't mean to be overly brief, I just don't want to talk too much.  Take care.

Good of you to post Dave, but very saddening to hear.  So many people with cancer lately, it almost seems like an epidemic.

I hope you have many more months Dave, and may you again see your wife in Heaven when it's time. I am sure she is waiting.

Super Dave.  I cannot tell you how much this saddens my heart. You have always been a good guy and an inspiration to me.  The few times we spoke on the phone I could tell you were a good man.

I hope that your remaining time be as peaceful as possible. I will miss you terribly.

That said, I know you'll be in heaven with your wife, rejoicing and in superb health. No pain, no tears.

You will always be in my heart.  Love you, Dave.

Jeezus Dave ! I feel so bad and sad and so many things right now... I am also happy that you get the care you're supposed to. -It has been an honor to see you grow as a skinner although a little late, and become Master and all that was one of your wishes here on Wincustomize. -I hope things will be as good as they can for you and that you still have a few years left in you. Take care now until next time you get the urge to write a few words or maybe even upload something.

-I wish you all the best ! :star:  <3  :star:

Check out these two guys on youtube.

Especially Robert Morse.  These guys know what they are talking about and I've been following them myself,

their diet ect.

Have an open mind Dave and take a look.  Both have saved a lot of peoples lives.

Deeply saddened by this news. May the love of Jesus Christ carry and sustain you and your family through this very difficult time. May you peacefully enter into eternity with Him.

"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." - Revelation 21:4.

God bless you and your family always!

Hello Dave,

Can't really detail well how sorry I am to hear this.  As you can see, your family here appreciates you, and your work, a great deal.

If prayers and well wishes do indeed help heal, you have medicine on the way from all of us here at Stardock.

Yours,

Super Dave.
To clarify, it's a nickname I gave Dave a while back. For some reason, Super Dave Osborne came to mind once and I started calling him that.  Not knowing this, I can see how that may have seemed odd/out of place to yall.

Oddly, I just learned that Super Dave Osborne also had cancer.

Super Dave Osborne

Yup, His real name is Bob Einstein and he passed on in Jan. He was on a Canadian show called Bizarre back in the early 80's where he did his stunts.
