Firstly, I started out here as a wall artist. If you or a friend/cousin/bruzzin(hehe) have an account here please at least give a new artist a chance by:

A: Configuring your account so you see every skin rated at even the lowest (I have always kept mine at 1 so that I can see EVERY work).

B. Rate that artist! Good or bad your vote counts and an art piece that otherwise might sit and not get viewed WILL get viewed if you feel it worthy enogh to Vote it into the 'sacred7' range.

C. No matter what! Comments are good! Irritating, indifferent, disgusted, jovial, happy, satisfied, enraptured (hehe) you get the idea...

D.Be respectful of the artist you critique, and ask yourself, "Could I even do this? Are MY tastes so much better? Do I need to take time out of my day to point out something to someone about something that I have know knowledge of? And if a color doesn't suit my style must I bash the artist for it when it might perfectly match another person's tastes?

When all is said and done, this site is GREAT and only getting better but I just want to remind us folks who have legit accounts here to do our part!

Go into your 'edit account' and if you look further down there is a place that asks about Show skins with this rating or higher: and set it to ONE.

I have always kept my setting on the lowest "1". Sometimes it's not bad work even if has a low rating.

A: done that, saw a couple of walls rated 1 and weren't that bad.
B: good intentions, the site gets what it radiates
C: always constructive with hints please, any negative or positive comment without telling why is without meaning really. Although I like it better sounds than it's terrible.

Apparently, not everyone has the option of changing their ability to view all skins. The only way I'm allowed to rate is the top downloads and newest additions.

PS, I am user level 3.

I was just checking that in *edit account* and noticed that myself.

I don't think we have that option for level 3 users.

Gadget Girl and bordfryr123 everyone has that option except visitors. Its near the bottom of edit your accoune. Just click on whatever the number you have and delete it and put in a new number.

WOM- All I see is the above. I see nothing about Ratings of skins.
There is one box for 2 choices.Hide posts older than X days and enter 0 for no restrictions.

Under web viewing preference, right under max # of skins per page is show skins with this rating or higher. Thats what you click on and delete that number and put in a 1 if thats what you want to do. This will not let you rate, it will let you view those with lower ratings. You have to be an apprentice or higher or a level 4 to rate.

I am a level 4 user and have no number setting, so I guess that means I see all.

Level 3: Object Desktop / Stardock customer / Elite User. These are users who have either purchased Object Desktop Network or some other Stardock product (Stardock is WinCustomize's sponsor), or has Apprentice access or higher due to contributing to the site in other forms (making skins, being an active contributor to the message boards, etc.). These users get all the benefits of a registered user plus the ability to rate skins and can download an unlimited amount of content.

If I have the privilege of rating skins shouldn't I have that option in *EDIT ACCOUNT*
