Ifris the Engulfed's weapon?

Ifris the Engulfed is a hero, but he cannot equip any weapons.  Is this a mistake?

Probably.  Report it has a bug.  Doesn't look like he has anything in the XML file.

Not really sure, if you look at my thread from recently:

It seems there are other heroes (at least one) with the same issue. The UI should really say you can't equip an item at all if that is the intent. Otherwise, I agree, bug.

Yes, it's bugged.  I submitted a ticket.  Here is the thread where I list what heroes can use what weapons and which three heroes have no weapons available to them.
