Metropolis WB - Work in progress.

Been spending rather a lot of time in C4D these days working on modelling, lighting, texturing... One can only do so much in Photoshop... and I've

been doing it.. a loooong time... or so it feels...

So.....thought I would venture into 3D again for another WB.... Post work in PS.

I'm thinking along the lines of an upscale, contemporary, plush apartment in a modern Metropolis. Stainless steel fixtures..mood lighting.. et ceteraB)

For Windows 7.

Will post more as I go.

i Loooooove lighting....  :inlove:

Cheers... and thx to Snowman and Doc for their critiques....and the WB name.  'Perfect' :smitten:

Don't hold your breath though or the WB wont be the only thing with blue as the main color. :D

That must have been one BAD stick of RAM to require a reformat. I'm happy to hear you are on the road to recovery.

Well, it was narrowing it down that was the most work and time.. it just ended UP being the RAM.

As far as the reformat goes.. I had a new drive and did the new install on a different drive to make sure it wasn't my old drive that was the issue.

Wasn't really a re-format, was a completely new install and subsequent full install of all my stuff.

Now the old drive.. is an extra backup.

Any chance the new drive is an SSD? |-)

Plus your current motherboard doesn't support SATA III, a requirement for an SSD to be an advantage buddy.

That is what I think, or at least thought. I'll be putting SATAII SSD/SATAII mobo vs. SATAII platter drive to the test soon. Stay tuned.

Yeah, I just found out a few minutes ago on eBay that Intel made SATA II SSD's, so I just bought me a couple of new 160GB drives at a damn good price! Did not have to buy a new motherboard at least. Going to revamp my storage layout and do fresh installs, and then backups of course! Dual boot Windows 7/8 (with Start 8 of course). :)
