N00b question: Can I play with both expansions on?

Hello all! I just purchased Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity. I've played a couple short games, and I noticed I have 3 options, play vanilla SINS, or play with Entrenchment, or with Diplomacy (from the main screen). Is there a way to play with both expansions active or is an either or thing? (Or does Diplomacy automatically include all the features from Entrenchment and I've just missed them so far?)
