Where is the dang category?

Oh, excuse me.  Was looking for a category and could not find one.  Picked the mixed pickle one.

Been in computers a long time, not my entire life.  Dino did not have thumbs, so we just used rocks to count back in the day. But I learned,  So I have been enjoying them for a while now.

Don't do social media.  Don't trust them.  Too old to start.  Anyway, I am old, opinionated, and been around.  So I will comment.  I do not expect to write much.  I am not that good of a writer, nor do I have much interesting to say.

If you like my comments, thank you. If you do not, tell me why,.  If you want to just get in my face, let me warn you - I am an ugly SOB and your pretty face is going down!

Never mess with an ugly man - he will just make you ugly too!  Maybe I should make that my tag line?

I fear I may not be a good arguer or debater.  I am more an OCD - I look for the nits to pick.  But thank you for your welcome, and best of luck in your good fight!

My children and grands try to embarrass me into getting into it (since I have been working with computers since the late 50s), but then I had my identity stolen a while back, so am very gun shy about them,

:-| Hi guys.  First time here and after reading some posts, I have a lot to learn.  Right now my problem is that I can't use the Desktop Pet that I bought a long time ago.  I was sent the download link and registration code but the code didn't work.  I have written Support again asking what I should do,  but does anyone know how to update this or is there a way to get around using Windows 7?  I tried the compatibility mode for XP but I keep getting wrong code message.

Thanks for any help.

I guess I am out of place because I DO NOT want to argue with anyone, I just want an honest exchange of ideas and thoughts, not very easy to find though. When I need to argue, all I have to do is say hello to my grandson and I have more than enough. I am tired of accusations as opposed to questions. Just doesn’t make sense to me. An honest exchange of ideas to some is an argument to others.  If 2 people agree all the time, one is superfluous.

An honest exchange of ideas is also called dialogue and dialogue can focus on differences which results sometimes in an argument. But even arguments can be good as long as they are conducted civilly.
