Faction abilities?

I've seen guides on how to create new factions but what I'm looking for is just to create new faction abilities. Does anyone know how to do this or where these XML files are stored?

Check AbilityBonuses.xml and CoreAbilities.xml. AbilityBonuses has things like benevolent, death worshipping, etc. You should be able to copy that file and add your own value in. I don't think it will show up in the faction editor however. You'd have to add that in the xml yourself (or use the faction editor in the mod forums).
