new ship should be added. a beast.

I think we need a new Capital ship in the game.

Since entrenchment is new.

Reasons for new ship (Mines, u would think they would make a new cap ship in 15 years, a meaner more expensive ship is needed.)

My suggestion would be to to have a real new tec, advent, and var, cap ship with the weapons of all ships currentlly in game.

No leveling up....

Cost. 20,000 credits, 10,000 metal, 6,000 crystal.

Hull - 5,555

Shield points

Primary - 3,000

Secondary shield - 1,500

fighters/bombers - I say a real capitol ship would have atleast 6 squadrons, tec - 36 , vasri - 24, advent should have 4 squadrons b/c they have a heck of a lot more fighters/bombers per suad.

this ship would be like 400 fleet supply and u can only have 1.

and it should be the 9th level of military research. call it w/e u wish. oh yeah, mine jamming for a radius of 5000.

 

Just a though to spice up the military action.

Just think, this ship plus a small fleet could hold off a full flegde assualt of a solar system.

Sounds good to me.  I honestly always thought the capital ships shoud ahve been a bit bigger and more powerful.  When I hear 'capital ship,' I think of this massive ship that is many times larger than a frigate (thinking back to the openning scene in Star Wars where the Star destroyer is chasing the frigate,  its is MUCH larger).  But I agree that a super ship would be nice to have.

They should make a new class of cap...like a flagship and make it so you can only have 1 at a time.

maybe they should get the ball rolling faster on entrenchment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it better be released in feburary or people will be ready to give it up.

The Epic War Mod has a T3 battlecruiser; 7500 credits 250 fleet supply  after it hits level 4 or 5 and you have researched  some armor it has more than 12,000 HP.  Of course, frigates are useless in the mod so some balancing needs to be done.

sounds good, though it would have to be very carefully balanced

one other thing i thought i would mention here... why do the ships stay still when they fight? i mean, does the term "sitting duck" mean anything to these ship captains? i can understand if cap ships stay still or more only a little, but frigates should move around.

im not sure what that would do to gameplay or performance, it may improve gameplay because it would look like a space battle, rather than space age American civil war where they line up and shoot the cr@p out of each other...

performance wise may actually slow the game down because now everything is moving...

well, all that moving and stuff means computing power. my system slows down if i have conquored a lot of planets and systems b/c of the trade factor and refineries and a 1000+ ships will do that to game!

 

My fps will get down to very fing. slow.

 

i wish i had a better system but economics takes over... for me anyway!! Only buy what u need and only buy if u have the cash.... Sry Credit cards don't apply to the world of hard cash(means i don't want to pay a shitty % for quick money).
