The Witcher- will not download

The game is about half-way done with the download(4GB) but I get an error that says "problem writing file" in the error log I get:

However, I have more than enough room on the hard drive for the witcher, about 50GB, any ideas on what is happening?

You need at least 20gb or so available on drive C to start with (35 total if C is also your game install directory).

Well, there is a total of 58GB on the C drive for me and it is the install directory. Anything else that could be causing the error?

I'm in the same boat, with plenty of space on my hard drive.

The new download mechanism gives me a 'File smaller than expected' everytime (and i clean my IE cache between attempts).

With the old mechanism I get the follwing error about halfway through:

Code: c++
  1. Context: DownloadJob Transient Error - twee/cdp PublicProduction 1.4.001

I did a defrag of the C drive and tried to download from the other server, but it still stops at the exact same spot (4GB, 47.6%) and tells me there is no room on the drive. I had also removed some other stuff from the drive to see if that would help (about 10GB), but that still would not let it download any more.

It looks like you're having a different problem from the one we were working on the other day.  Please email [email protected] with all of your details.

I was having the same problem, just figured it out.

FAT32 has a file size limit of 4Gigs.

So the only solution I can see is puting it on an NTFS formatted drive.  This is causing problems for me...  Alas.
