Mind Control Center

I built the MCC while playing my 1st TA as the Krynn. It did not give me the expected 100% econ bonus. But I still take the planet flipping hit. So what is it good for now? Or is it just a Krynn thing?

With all the influence boosts they get now, if any planets DO flip, I figure it would be as the Krynn. I haven't seen any posts about "stacking bonuses" of the new buildings, but maybe the MCC is incompatiable with one of the Krynn's combo buildings?

Well this is what it says in the Planet Improvement.xml for The MCC.
Code: xml
  1. <Improvement>
  2. <S_InternalName>MindControlCenter</S_InternalName>
  3. <S_Name>Mind Control Center</S_Name>
  4. <AI>5</AI>
  5. <S_Type>GalacticAchievement</S_Type>
  6. <Maintenance>0</Maintenance>
  7. <Cost>500</Cost>
  8. <S_BriefDescription>Instant alien defections.</S_BriefDescription>
  9. <S_Description>This Galactic Achievement ensures that alien worlds that are ripe for defection defect nearly instantly.</S_Description>
  10. <S_IconName>Mind_Control.png</S_IconName>
  11. <S_QueryGraphicName>Mind_Control.png</S_QueryGraphicName>
  12. <CanHaveAgents>1</CanHaveAgents>
  13. <S_TechRequirement>Concepts of Malice</S_TechRequirement>
  14. <AbilityAmount>100</AbilityAmount>
  15. </Improvement>

Still has an ability bonus of 100, but I don't see ability type or anything saying 100 of what.

Edit:For some reason in the code block you have to highlight it to see the numbers. I also just checked it against the one in DA and besides Employment amount it doesn't seem any different, but I'm not an .xml expert

In DA, when you built it, and highlighted the square you built it on, the description would say Economics 100%. It does not say that in TA. It says nothing. Also, I was making about 6000bc/week before I built it. After I built it (lease bought) I remained at 6000bc/week.

I've tested it with the Krynn and the Korath, and it's broken. It is now quite literally worse than useless. It has no discernable benefit, prevents enemy planets from culture flipping to the player, takes up a tile and has upkeep.

This is really a massive problem for me personally. It may not have totally killed my enthusiasm for Twilight, but it's certainly put a huge dent in it. This means that anyone interested in scoring decently is stuck with DA or DL. It renders Twilight nearly unusable for Metaverse purposes. Truly a pity. :(

I want my MCC back!
