A Bourne Bada$$

I'm not usually into action movies, but The Bourne Series has been pretty awesome.

When I began watching Bourne Identity a few years ago, I didn't think I'd get into it, but it totally sucked me in. Last night, we re-capped and watched Bourne Supremacy, and once again, I was glued to the TV...feeling as if I was going through all the chaos along with him.

More often than not, sequels aren't as good as the original...but here we are in the third installment of this series (Bourne Ultimatum), and instead of getting stale, the story just gets more riveting. It was thrilling from the get-go...I began rallying for him once again the second the movie started. It was quite a ride from beginning to end. Jason's bad-assness from the 1st movie to the 3rd rarely wavers.

I'm not a big DVD purchaser (I pretty much leave that one up to Chris), but this is one I would definitely buy.

I really want to see this movie. I love the movie series so far. I got interested enough that I decided to read the books, but having seen the first two movies, I decided to just read the third book.

Suffice it to say, you could read the book and enjoy a completely different story. When I was younger, that would have really cheesed me off. Now I don't mind departures from the book if the movie is good enough.

The Bourne Ultimatum doesn't come out for a few weeks yet. Bummer. I left Canada and went back to Japan a few days before it came out.

I did see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix at the IMAX and in 3D before I left. I can't tell you how amazing that was. I have NEVER seen such amazing 3D. Only the big fight scene at the ministry of Magic was 3D but it was gooooooood.

I have yet to go to an IMAX theater. I'd love to, though.

Usually IMAX does some kind of documentary stuff but I like to see flicks because I like it LARGE

I saw Scorpion King on an IMAX screen. The movie wasn't so great but the Rock was extra jumbo size
