What are they??

Okay...I'm brand new to Stardock products, but very recently bought the $49.95 Object Desktop, and subscribed to Wincustomize...now I'm trying to figure out how it all works... I have a very simple question for now. What are screenshots and how do they work? I've tried to download several of them, but can't figure out how to make them a wallpaper, or what!! I know it might be a simple question, but if you could help me out, I sure would appreciate it!! Thanks!!

Screenshot are how people show off their desktop set-up.
They are not meant to be made into a wallpaper.
Some people will name the wallpaper in shot so you can search for it here in the Wallpaper gallery or at other sites. If you see a wall in a screenshot you like but there are no details, comment on screenshot and ask author for name of or a link to the wallpaper.

ScreenShots are just that. They are Photos of users Desktops. To capture a ScreenShot of your desktop just hit the PrtScn Button on your Keyboard. Now open any imaging software (MS Paint works fine) and paste the shot to save it. Again, SS's are just a way to show everyone how you have your desktop set up. They are used to pay homage to the artists and to also introduce other users to rare skins and themes.

Once you have downloaded your SS, just right-click the file and select "Set as Desktop Background"
