i am still waiting myself for my copy from stardock. the last time this happened to me, i had ordered from ebgames, and they informed me, after stringing me along for over 6 months(seriously, it was actually close to 7 before i got the order) that someone scanned the packages, so they were recorded as shipped, and then tossed them aside, leaving a whole slew buried for half a year in an ebgames warehouse before someone finaly realized there might be a problem, what with all the complaining customers. it was quite fun listening to ups tell me they had no record of the shipment, but ebgames tell me they had it recorded as shipped, so it was a ups problem.
here is hoping it doesn't take nearly that long to straighten it out this time, But, and maybe i'm just old, 3 weeks is a little early to raise a big stink. its called snail mail for reason. they use to tell us to wait 4-6 weeks before they would even acknowledge a complaint. I've got to agree with psychoak, I can understand being upset with customer service for a lack of a meaningful response, but i also imagine they are probably buried right now with complaints about everything to do with this game, and being an indy, likely don't have a lot of resources in this department to begin with.
you have your digital copy, so you don't have a manual that wasn't accuruate or useful when the game shipped, much less now, and would best serve to level a wobbly table, no poster or cloth map. i kinda wanna play with my pewter dragon, in lieu of a working game, but seriously, short of this being "the straw that broke the camels back", is it really worth getting this upset over?
