Actually I may have been wrong about the name "Blood Marines". Like you said, it could have been "Blood Ravens" or "Blood Angels". As I have only played Dawn of War: Dark Crusade, (Btw, 1 of the BEST RTS I have ever played, I suggest everyone tries it.), I remember clearly, a race of Marines, with red space suits, a bloodthirsty leader, and the name "Blood" and something else, I think it could have been Blood Marines, am I wrong? Sorry but its a long time since I played Dawn of War, and you just made me wanna install right now  

I have finished the DoW Dark Crusade campaign 2 times, but never played the game online. What other DoW games are you suggesting? Also, I have read some very negative comments about Dawn of War 2. What is your opinion?

Btw, I am only familiar with the Warhammer 40k Dawn of War series, I suppose there were older WH 40k games?

People spend hundreds of hours every month for their own entertainment, watching movies, play sports games etc etc, and they dont devote 1 of these hours for something that is about our own survival, regarding all of humankind, something that lists facts and truths, not speculations, not hypothesis, but facts. You dont have to agree with speculations and ideas about the future, but the facts about the present, are real, whether you like it or not.

How many of you here have watched the zeitgeist movie? Answer: None.

And Morpheas? Despite those negative comments on DoW2 (not that I've found any) it's still a good game. It's also the only RTS that has tried to change the formula of its series and succeeded recently. Yeah, it's different to the first DoW and its expansion, but that doesn't stop new from being good (except for the case of C&C4. Why do you change everything for the last game in a series?)

Oh, dont let me get started on C&C 4. The biggest FAIL of PC games in 2010. Its like having a delicious chocolate cake, and then go throw some bits of pork on top of the hot chocolate. Pork is fine, but not with a chocolate cake, it would be gross together. Now why would someone want to screw up something so good?

So, would you suggest DoW 2? Ah nevermind, I'll check the GameSpot review

@morph- 1. Without GW, 40k would not exist. Thus, we would not be able to say "FOR THE EMPEROR!!!"

2. Blood Ravens is the featured chapter in the campaigns of all Dawn of War games EXCEPT for Winter Assault; WA features Guard/Eldar (with Ultramarines as NPC allies) for the "Order" campaign, and Chaos/Orks for the Disorder campaign.

3. DoW vanilla and the WA xpack have linear campaigns, not the meta-map of DC.

4. DoW2 is good, but requires Steam; it's different from DoW1 but still good.

@morph- in regards to the discussion of the previous pages, you DO bring up some very good points; however, man just isn't going to unite unfortunately. It's also not that I won't consider any other views other than my own, it's that most other views that are opposed to mine are completely ridiculous (at least IMO). Additionally, I live in America; this isn't important on it's own, but because of my beliefs and the "respect the minorities beliefs/rights" mentality of America at this point in history, my beliefs get shafted so that the homos and the Jihadists can freely practice whatever the hell they want.

Isn't that just a bunch of BS? Quite frankly, the current state of America right now disgusts me; I do agree with you that a culture without money can succeed just as well as one with, but I'm not sure if you know why money was created. Unlimited rights... The right to take what you want, to do what you want, and not to be stopped. You need something to enforce rules that stop murder and theft surely? Then you have a symbol of authority, which is either followed or opposed, creating a form of unity, I suppose, but sort of going against the point of the project.

Without a symbol of authority, you have anarchy. If a vote is taken without some kind of police force to enforce the final decision, people who disagree will still do what they want. If I'm missing something, please tell me. I just don't see how humanity and this project are compatible.

There is no need for any symbol of authority, because people would not have any reason to steal, kill, or harm anyone. There would be no personal gain from this. Why would you kill someone? Why would you steal something that is already yours?

Like I said, the concept of "ownership" would be obsolete. Also, anarchy happens, only when a group of people question the government, or the police, or any kind of authority. These things would not exist, ergo, no anarchy would be possible. As for the vote disagreement, people would not create conflict, because some things they vote for would occur, while others would not. And what do you think these things would be anyway? It would be things like: "Do you want the new train transportation to be a. white b. blue or c. green, things like that. What would there to vote for? The next president? LOL   Most things would be just numbers and math anyway, these things cant be questioned. If in a particular place in the world is know for its strong winds, then the wind energy is the most efficient in that area, so that type of energy would be used in that place.

These are examples, but you get the point.

Also, since you and Whiskey insist so much on people's nature and stuff like that, I am going to say once again, that there is NO such thing as "human nature". If you still insist that in that world there would still be conflict, then do you know what the world civility means? If we reach the point where we finally create such a world, then our whole culture will be changed throughout the years, create a new type of culture, changing entirely the way we think, thus forming true civility in every human being.

All these things seem impossible to you, simply because we were never able to achieve them.

Again, since you haven't gotten the time to read or watch a video regarding the Venus project, don't rush to conclusions.
