Banned for making me lmao.
Banned for that would be an effective way to kill the thread. I'll consider it.
Uhm....no we dont need this thread closed or anything. Thanks but no thanks
Meanwhile, centipedes should be feared even without a phobia.
Why is that? Do they have a poisonous sting or anything?
I never bothered to look it up on wiki, because 99% of the time wikipedia has a pic on the right side, and I CANT look at a centipede for more than 5 sec, real or not
So here's my story:
When I was 7 y.o., I was sleeping in my bed, when I woke up suddenly, feeling something weird in my face. It was a big, (giant to me) Centipede, that was crawling on my face. I started screaming and moving my head to shake it off, and it fell somehow on my knees. It stung me on the foot, and I immediately run to my mother.
I was scared to death. My mother killed it, (or threw it out of the house, I dunno), and gave me some medicine, that was, as she said, to ease the pain.
She later told me, that it was a full grown centipede, and that sting at a young boy like me, could have (at the worst case), killed me, and that the medicine was an antibiotic for the poison.
She knows that kind of stuff, but I think she was exaggerating about the "could have killed you" part. I dunno.
All I know is that I am terrified of centipedes since then. (Classic psychological trauma, and the cause of my phobia)
Btw, you do realize that you were once a baby, right? I am not anxious to repeat the experience.
Even if you wanted, you cant
