Hi ya. I could use some more feedback, on the lasers this time though.

As of right now:
*Tech Utility/Scout
-- Small Green Laser

*Cobalt/Siege frigate/Capital light laser
-- Small Blue Laser

*Capital Ships Medium Laser
-- Red Laser

Anywho, let me know what you think.

Nice to see some color variations in the lasers. Add a nice touch to the game.

Bleh, you two beat me to the edit button.
I made a comparison video for one of my friends, who doesn't have the game, so I thought I'd share it.

TEC Comparison Video

wait: so this is the wrap ups of the TEC. how far are you on the advent and vasari?

The mod is about 30% done.
I'm hoping the rest will go faster since I have about 100+ hours with the Particle Forge under my belt now.

I think every hour spent grinding in Particle Forge grants +1 to your Particle Forging skill... can't wait until I hit 150 and unlock some new stuff.

heh, sorry I'm still recovering from World of Warcrack.

Will Instant Forging be unlocked? Instant creation of all those effects would definitely speed up the mod's creation.

I think the colour of the laser could be used to reflect the damage done by a particular ship.

Maybe red is for low damage,blue is for medium damage and green for high damage.

It's just my 2 cents.

Sorry, that level is reserved exclusively for IronClad programmers. The best you can get is 60, but you can unlock up to 70 if you pre-order the Sins expansion.

Neon color? You've already used the 3 primary colors. So what color will it be? Purple FTW!

Just a quick status update. I haven't had a lot of time to mod this last week. We have been pretty busy at work since we're short-staffed two people. Also, my friends and family decided they missed me and dragged me out of the basement for awhile. The sunlight was like a dagger to my retinas.

Anywho, I'm going to be modding between shifts at work for the next five days. After that I have three days off and I'll finally be able to put in some serious mod time again.

I'm very happy with how the TEC are turning out though. I've put a lot of time into making sure their weapon effects decently represent the damage being done while trying to maintain the "multitudinous", it's a real word apparently, feel of version 1. I'm actually kind of worried I won't be able to make the Vasari and Advent look as cool as the TEC do. I'm going to try my best though.

I'm also pretty excited about bailknight's upcoming 1.3 release.
I look forward to seeing his new creations.
I'll probably be incorporating his new effects in to the mod if he'll let me.

Personally I love both Bailknight's and WLd's styles, which is why I use both in 7 DEADLY SINS. BTW, have you both seen the Solar Flair mod? That guy has his own style too.

WLD: Here is my two cents, after just finishing my Astronomy class. Colors in the universe mean this:
Red =weak
yello-green = medium
blue = strong
violet-neon = powerful

Just thought you should know. This is why my Atlantians have purplish beams. Uber.

His effects look good, but I just can't agree with all the bubbly projectiles

Sweet. My favorite part of SolarFlair is the Advent plasma. The projectile and hit effects are well, plasma. Its a traveling ball of fire with a nice long flaming trail and hits and explodes into a cloud of very cool-looking fire. Of course, Vasari phase missiles don't suck either. They really look like phase missiles instead of blue darts like vanilla. Pulse guns don't suck either. A close-up on a Ravastra while firing really looks sweet.

I have to agree, but I still like Bailknight's and WLd, so I want to try to include all three. I have more flexibility, since I have more races to spread the effects around on.

I would be MORE than happy if you released what ever you have done at this point. Your stuff is awesome, and I really want to include it in version 2.0 of 7DS.
