The good news is we had already begun working on it before all the problems started with previous patches by stardock---the even better news is with Renfl back the process of working on the mod will be speeded up---believe me when I say we have been waiting patiently as have all of you for stardock to release this patch----now we can get back to work on the mod---I know Han's anxious to get back to work on it also---as far as a timeframe I would have to say "When it's done we will release it"---but we will not rush out a mod for the sake of "getting it out there"---I'm sure no one would want to play a mod thats broken!

Not yet guys, but we are getting close. We are discussing things on the mod right now. Including new forum, pages, etc.

Errr, folks is there any particular reason why part1 of the current download is just 8.73mb instead of 333mb as stated on the download page?

Have you patched DA to 1.? If so that may be the problem. The trek mod hasn't been updated much since the initial release of DA IIRC (correct me if i am wrong). There are things in the mod that may not work right with the DA 1. patch. I don't know much about the coding/scripting aspect of the mod. I am just a modeler, and a few of my works have made it into the mod. So i am just assuming. I will test the mod myself later with the new patch, and see if i run into similar problems. As what was posted earlier the team is working on an update to the mod.

Yes, we are changing servers. The mod is no longer available and the reason for that is below:



The mod you were trying to download had some issues where ships caused things to crash due to conflicts with XML coding and the Ship Models (Tieing models to the right race between the raceconfig.xml file, shipstyles, shipcfg, and ship templates file).

Currently we have removed the 12 races and taken it down to four races. Federation, Klingon, Romulans, and Borg. We have been playing with these to make sure they do not crash, so far its been good. We have played with 1.80b, but not 1.80c.

We plan to announce some news sometime between tonight and next week. (Great window, but its better than saying Thursday and then releasing Tuesday).

Gurthers i would'nt bother with this version mate it dosnt work properly as the ships make the game crash alot, its a brillant mod though from what i've seen. Theres suppossed to be some news coming out though within the next week about a new version so just keep your eyes peeled for it.

11/4/07 - Opening of the New Forum

We are going to disclose the address to the new forum tomorrow!

The forum is brand new, same look and feel, but all old messages are gone, so we'll be starting fresh, so you any old members will need to re-register, mainly due to the fact that prior to this forum we had a lot of fake and unused accounts.

We'll have information on the mod, and give a Time-Line of things to come throughout the month of November.

Some screenshots and combat video's of the mod will be up for you guys to enjoy. Until we release the next portion of the mod, which isn't going to be to far away I promise. We are just dedicated to making sure it works for everyone.

Some people were reporting issues with the game crashes due to ships, I never was able to confirm this, but the numbers alone showed something was wrong. So this next update will be one step forward, two steps back, to ensure stability for everyone.
