Is your omega mod compatible with kyro's? I'd like to use your ships along side some of my own I've designed using kyros mod.

i see the korath and drengin as more bulky nasty avalanche of steel and angry xenos

but the designs are cool

It will still be a BSG theme its just will be an all in one conversion.

For the Drengin Empire I made most of the ship Klingon style




I experimented with the Drengin Troop Transport by make a large loading deck with mecha and tanks

I'm probably starting to sound annoying with all my questions, but after i installed the omega mod, I tried using the BSG ship pack, and i moved the ships to templates in the dark avatar folder. Once I started the game the templates would not show up, and the hulls from the pack would only show up as hardpoints. So what am I doing wrong?

Dumb question here, but what exactly do the Omega Mods 2.0 do? If I install them along with Kryo's mod, is this going to mess with my existing designs/templates? Do they do anything other than add new jewelry? Change any gameplay mechanics? etc.

Unfortunately when I try to use the BSG mod I get something similar to what Afroman was describing.

These are the steps I have gone through...
1.) Install Omega mod 2.0. Path= C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\DarkAvatar\mods\Omega-2
2.) Start DA, and make sure the game is pointing to this directory for mods, and that the mods checkbox is turned on.
3.) Open the BSGshpk2 folder, copy all files, and past them in the path C:\Documents and Settings\Big Sexy\My Documents\My Games\GC2DarkAvatar\ships
4.) Start DA and begin playing.

When I try to build a new ship, or make a new one from the shipyard I see some of the hulls fine. However the vast majority of the hulls show up as a name on the screen to select. With no information or graphic to go along with them. What am I doing wrong?

Forgot to mention that I'm currently running DA 1.59.078.

It add hulls, weapons, engines, ass jewelry. It also give deferent hull sizes cruiser, battlecruiser, destroyer, battleships, dreadnoughts, titan and so on and It allows you to run Omega ship packs. The mod is compatible with Kryo’s mod and should not interfere with design form the mod.

It makes the hulls, weapons and engines parts be able to uses as jewelry.
